Senior School Tour
Pupils in Third Class up to Sixth Class went on their school tour on Thursday, May 27th. They had a busy day in U.L. and then visited King John’s castle.

Trip to visit the County Council Offices
On Monday, May 25th our Senior pupils visited the County Council offices in Ennis and then explored the Fire Station.
A wonderful day was had by all and sincere thanks to those who made the visit possible.
Write a Book Project
Congratulations to all our young authors who received prizes on Wednesday evening, May 13th 2015.
Kilmurry N.S. to be used as a polling station
Kilmurry N.S. will be closed on Friday May 22 2015 as the school is being used as a polling station for the two referenda being held that day.
Confirmation
Congratulations to the pupils from our school who received the Sacrament of Confirmation on Saturday, May 16th in St Finnachta’s Church, Sixmilebridge.
Website
As part of the Department’s strategy to improve children’s literacy and numeracy skills, the National Adult Literacy Agency developed the website called Help my kid learn. This website provides some suggestions for enjoyable activities in which parents and their children can engage.
May Eve Gathering
Alíse and David researched traditions associated with May Eve in Kilmurry. They shared what they learned with all gathered.
First Holy Communion
Our pupils in Second Class received their First Holy Communion on Saturday, May 9th. It was a beautiful ceremony and was the culmination of a year’s preparation. We congratulate the pupils, their teachers and families.
