Catholic Schools Week will be celebrated this week. On Friday next February 5th at 12 noon Fr Harry will visit our school and bless each child in Infants. Parents are welcome to join us for this short ceremony. During the week pupils will make St Bridget’s crosses keeping alive this tradition and also remembering St Bridget, Patroness of Ireland.

Former pupils, David and Paul, achieved success in the recent BT Young Scientist Exhibition in Dublin.
On Tuesday morning, December 22nd, our pupils presented the Christmas story in word, song and music.
The following are some extracts from a letter which Fr. Harry has circulated to homes in the parish.
Firstly, let me wish you and your family every blessing for 2016. One of the parish initiatives which encouraged me in 2015 was the meetings we had with you, parents, about how you can support and be involved in the new Grow in Love Programme and in the preparation of your children for the Sacraments of First Holy Communion and Confirmation.
To continue our conversation, our next meeting with parents will take place on Wednesday night next:
Wednesday, January 13th 2016 in St Finnachta’s Church at 7.30 p.m.
