Over the past couple of weeks 5th and 6th class students have been working on a project called the Junior Entrepreneur Programme.
On Wednesday, March 16th, the pupils sold copies of their grammar book.
Kilmurry N.S. Parents’ Association will have a Cash for Clobber collection just after the Easter break.

Proclamation Day was celebrated in Kilmurry N.S. The Irish Tricolour which was presented to the school was raised. Pupils and staff, joined by our former Principal Mr. Joe Brady, celebrated our rich culture of music, song and dance.
A memorable day was had by all.

Today was a very special day in the life of the community of Kilmurry. Our sixth class pupils were conferred with the Sacrament of Confirmation in their local church. Fr. Harry celebrated the Mass and the ceremony was enriched by beautiful music and hymns. Afterwards, refreshments were served to all

Over the past couple of weeks 5th and 6th class students have been working on a project called the Junior Entrepreneur Programme.
We started off by thinking of ideas that would be successful such as ice-cream, smoothies, USB wristbands, key chains, half zips and Irish Grammar Books.
To decide which idea we should focus on, we had to present our ideas to a panel of “Dragons”. After a hard, long discussion the Dragons decided on Irish Grammar Books.
We will be selling these grammar books on the 16th March 2016 in the school between 11:30 and 12:3o.

On Tuesday, March 15th, the Tricolour which was presented to the school earlier in the school year will be raised.
The senior pupils will read their own proclamation and all will enjoy some music, song and dance.
On Monday the senior pupils will travel to St. Caimin’s School in Shannon to watch a performance of the Easter Rising.
