Doireann and Helena tell us about the girls day:
‘On the 23rd of March we went to Tulla for our qualifiers. All the girls came including: Doireann, Helena, Grace, Katie, Kate, Ciara and Lauren. We play Lakyle, Raheen Wood and Bridge Town. We beat Lakyle 2-0. We beat Raheen Wood 3-0. We drew with Bridge Town 1-1. On Wednesday the 1st of May, we travelled to Lee’s Road for the FAI 5-a-Side soccer tournament. First we played Kilnaboy N.S. Unfortunately we lost 2-0. Next we had a small break. Then, we played Cree N.S. Again we lost 4-0. Then we watched the boys. After lunch, we played a massive game of soccer with the boys and girls. Thank you to Ms Clune, Jimmy and Mr Flanagan for bringing and supporting us.’
