On Wednesday the 31st of May 4th, 5th and 6th class went to the UL Water Activity Centre in Killaloe. In the morning all the students had to be at the school at 8:45 sharp. We left at 9 o’clock and we arrived at 10 o’clock. We were told the rules and then we got our water gear. We got wetsuits, lifejackets and helmets. Soon after we were split into groups of 8 and 9. We got into the water to enjoy the likes of canoeing, sailing, wind surfing, paddle boarding and pier jumping. After three enjoyable hours we unfortunately had to get out of the water and get ready. Once we were all ready we went for a picnic in a field beside Lough Derg. After lunch we went to Brian Ború’s fort. The fort was intriguing. After awhile we had to leave and head home in a very humid bus. We had a great day and we all enjoyed it.
