On Thursday the 21st of March a man named David Lyons came in to give 4th and 5th class a talk about wildlife. He is a National Parks Wildlife Service Ranger. He showed us how precious wildlife is. He brought in some stuffed animals. That included an otter, an owl, a red squirrel, a pine martin, a hedgehog and a hare. He also brought in some dried bats. We got to touch them. He also told us what kinds of animals live around Clare and more specifically Kilmurry. He told us where they live, what they eat and much more. He told us how important wildlife is.
