The final was held in Sixmilebridge GAA pitch. There were 6 teams in the final round. They were Kilnamona, Inch, Kilkishen, Ballyea and Kilmurry. We were split into 2 groups. In our group were Kilnamona and Inch. We played the two matches back to back with only 5 minutes in between. Our first match was against Kilnamona. The score was Kilmurry 3-2 to 3-0 Kilamona. Our next match was against Inch. The score was Kilmurry 3-2 to 2-0 Inch. We won our 2 matches so that meant we were through to the final! This was the first time Kilmurry National School had gotten this far.  We then took a 40 minute break to relax ourselves and prepare ourselves for the final. It was a very exciting and intense game; both teams were well matched for each other. But thankfully Kilmurry came out on top with a score line of 3-2 to 2-1. We were so overwhelmed screaming and shouting in delight. Kate then went up to collect the shield. She then made a speech thanking Ms Clune and Jimmy and all the parents for driving and supporting us all the way.
