A couple of weeks ago I played in a tournament in Ahane. The Bridge under 10’s were playing. My Dad and I brought Brendan and Gary. When we got there we started warming up and pucking balls over the bar.
In the group we won two matches and lost one. Then we went in to the hall for food but suddenly we were called out for a final.
We were playing Clarecastle. It was a tight game but we came out as winners. Conor Gilligan and Gary O‘Callaghan were the captains . We were going crazy when we won it!!
Afterwards we went back into the hall to finish our food. The tables were named for each team so we got our own table.
After filling our bellies a couple of us did a lap of honour. Gary and I had great crack in the car on the way home.
It was a magnificent day!
