On the 3rd of February the indoor camogie competition commenced in Cratloe hall. The teams competing were Kilmurry, Kilkishen, Cratloe and Sixmilebridge.
We played Cratloe first and won that match with a score of 4-0 to us. Straight after that match with only a 1 minute break we started to play Kilkishen and we also won that match with an incredible score of 10-0 to us once again.
We went upstairs and watched Sixmilebridge and Cratloe play their match and we had a quick bite to eat. Once the Sixmilebridge and Cratloe match had finished Cratloe played Kilkishen and that was a very close encounter.
Once that match was finished we headed down for the final match of the day. We played against Sixmilebridge, our near rivals and it was a very tough match but we pulled through with an astonishing score of 6-2. We won all three of our matches and our next match is on the 9th of February 2017.
All support would be greatly appreciated.

On Thursday the ninth of February the 4th and 5th class girls from Kilmurry N.S travelled to Cratloe for the 2nd round of the Cummann na mBunscoil Indoor Camogie Tournament.
We left the school where we had previously received our jerseys at ten past one. We arrived in Cratloe at twenty five past one and got our dressing room. We weren’t the first game on so we went upstairs to watch St.Senan’s play Flagmount/Dromindoora. Just before the game finished we went downstairs and got ready to play Clonlara.
It was a very tight game, with everyone putting in their best effort. Unfortunately we narrowly lost by 2 goals with the score being 3-1 to Clonlara.
Our next game was against St.Senan’s. Everyone was wrecked but we managed to keep going. The score in that match was 6-2 to us.
After playing St.Senan’s we had a one match break.
We were next to play Flagmount/Dromindoora. After having a break, everyone was ready to play. We were three goals up and Flagmount/Dromindoora brought it back to one goal. Just before the final whistle blew we scored a goal, making the final score Kilmurry five Flagmount/Dromindoora three.
We were disappointed when Clonlara beat St.Senan’s because we needed St.Senan’s to win for us to go into a playoff.
Everyone was disappointed when we were knocked out but we had a great day overall!
